It’s raining and 53 degrees here, with an expected high of 58. I have a SPACE HEATER POINTED AT MY FEET…but only because I refuse to wear socks in my own house only 2/3 of the way through SUMMER.

But hey, maybe the sun is hiding because she’s jealous. No way can she outshine my two FABULOUSLY TALENTED crit partners and their glow-in-the-dark achievements today.

Check it out:

Today is the official publication date for IT’S NOT ABOUT THE ACCENT, Caridad Ferrer’s second release with MTV books. Sure to be a hit following her amazing, RITA-award-winning debut, ADIOS TO MY OLD LIFE, this book tackles some very dark stuff on its way to a happy, satisfying conclusion. You loved ADIOS? You’ll love ACCENT, too. Check Barbara/Caridad’s blog for further info.

And the folks at Romance Junkies have once again showcased their very good taste by giving the Phaze FANTASIES IV anthology — including Eva Gale’s excellent erotic steampunk novella, SCORPION’S ORCHID — no less than FIVE GOLD RIBBONS and a stellar review. Read the review here.

So all in all, a pretty damned good day, sun or no sun. 🙂 – Romance of Dubious Virtue
